Anyone who is a graphic designer (or, in your case, calls themself a graphic designer) has probably had someone say, “hey can you take this pikshure and move this person’s head somewhere else?” Or “hey, can you remove your no-good sorry excuse for a dad’s face from all the family pikshures?” You’re about to learn how.
If you are on a PC, you will need an extra step before you begin. If you are on a Mac, continue on below…
So even though you are not laying out text, you’ll still want to use Photoshop (it has surprisingly good tools for working on images). To move the head around you’ll use the marchy dots tool to choose the head and then use the pointer thing to move it around to where you want it. Or, if you want to remove the head, just use that tool that looks like a brush thing and just draw over the head with a color to cover it up. Pretty simple, huh?
Since most of you peons can probably barely even read, I grabbed a variety of random sample pikshures and work up some examples. Remember, I’ve been doing this stuff for around 5 months so your probably won’t turn out this good.
So take that as inspiration and make your own. Feel free to post it to the CRAPIC Flickr group and I can tell you what’s wrong with it.
